Puttalam District, North Western Province, Sri LankaANAMADUWA – GALGAMUWA ROADThis project was to rehabilitation 39.10 Km along the B class road, up to 8 meter carriageway width for 2 lane traffic including hard shoulder on either side. Road base was strengthened with sub base and base re – construction with dense aggregate base. 1 meter soft shoulder was constructed on either sides including necessary embankment filling. Road surfacing was done with 50mm thick asphalt wearing course. 52 Nos of culverts were completely constructed and 47 Nos were extended. Considerable concrete drainages were also completed. Gampaha District, Western Province, Sri Lanka SEEDUWA – UDUGAMPOLA ROADSEEDUWA – KATUNAYAKE ROAD This Project consisted of rehabilitating 2 Nos of B class roads, having 3.9Km on (B 598) and 11.7Km on (B 400) totaling up to 15.6Km. Both roads were improved and widened to 8 meter carriage way with a width of 3.2 meters for 2 lane traffic with 8 meter hard shoulder on either sides. Base reconstruction was done with dense graded aggregate base followed by asphalt binder course and asphalt wearing course. Drainages and culverts were constructed to manage storm water runoff. Retaining structures were also constructed where necessary. Funded by the local banks of Sri Lanka. This was completed at a contract amount of LKR 1549 Million.
