DO NOT BE FOOLED This XFD131 kit (internet # 305 926 995) is a “promotional” grade kit. This looks similar to XFD061 (internet # 301 444 915), but has over 20% less torque. This tool might be acceptable for the occasional home user, but serious users should make a side by side comparison. Amongst other differences, notice the different chucks. The charger supplied in this kit is a basic charger that slow charges (compared to “RC” chargers) supplied in the better quality kits.
Note : At $99 I kept this kit. It comes with a BL1830B battery. The kit is almost as cheap as a bare battery

I bought this drill for my electrician’s tool bag. Its compact and light weight. It fits perfectly fine. The torque is perfect for fast screwing and small hole drilling. I love the belt clip! I have other drills for heavier duty and this Makita is the best deal for the price. The perfect drill for light duty fast screwing. I like the brushless design never had one. I also love the battery life indicator
